Baseline-
For this strand, I feel that I have a lot to learn. I have had minimal exposure in this area, I believe. I am eager to learn more and to better understand the components of this strand.
Growth- (updated April 2012)
For this strand I was able to interview my principal about democracy, diversity, and social justice. We were able to have a nice conversation about this topic. I also explored different children's books that related to this topic. I chose one to read to my homeroom and had a short discussion about the book. We also did a variety of activities within our program that related to this strand.
